Annemarie Mitchell completed all the requirements to earn the Certified Green Professional (CGP) and also the Certified Aging-In-Place Specialist designations by NAHB.
Annemarie Mitchell will be serving on the Board of Directors for the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) starting September 2011.
Annemarie Mitchell will be serving on the Board of Directors for Capital Region Builders and Remodelers Association (CRBRA) beginning January 2011 through December 2014. CRBRA is the local builders association affiliated with NYSBA and NAHB.

The CRBRA (Capital Region Builders and Remodelers Association) and BRANNY (Builders and Remodelers Association of Northern New York) have joined to create the first New York Sate chapter of the NAHB (National Association of Home Builders) Professional Women in Building Council. The Green Building Resource Group os a group of members of the Capital Region Builders and Remodelers Association (CRBRA). The group meet once a month and seek to transform the residential building industry into one where healthy & sustainable building practices are understood, economically advantageous and socially desirable.
The course "Timber Frame Overview" has been approved for 1 credit hour of continuing education for NYS code enforcement officials. Annemarie Mitchell will be presenting this course on January 27, 2010 in Middletown, NY.
On August 25, 2009 Annemarie joined a volunteer crew to install SIP panels for an Extreme Makeover home in Maryland. The home has structural panels for the exterior walls and roof. The show is a two hour special and will air on ABC, February 14, 2010 at 8 pm. Legacy Timber Frames was featured on the cover story of Builder/ Architect Magazine, March/April 2009 edition. The story included photos of a covered entry for Comfort Suites , a custom timber frame home and a hybrid timber frame/ conventional home all in Lake George, NY
Legacy provided timber posts and beams for the office of a home by Witt Construction that won the People’s Choice award in the 2008 Saratoga Builders Association Showcase of Homes. The proceeds from the showcase homes are donated to Habitat for Humanity and Rebuild Together Saratoga County.
The owners of Ballston Spa Veterinary Clinic in Ballston Spa, N.Y., won a 2008 Veterinary Economics Hospital Design Competition Merit Award with their brand-new veterinary facility. Legacy provided the timber framed entry for the clinic.
