Legacy Timber Frames, Inc. was established in 1988, incorporated in 1989, certified by NYS as a Women-Owned Business Enterprise in 2012, and is located near historic Saratoga Springs, New York. Legacy has been designing, producing and erecting custom timber frame structures for over two decades.
Our work has appeared in many magazines including American Dream Homes, Timber Frame Homes, Capital Region Building, Builder /Architect, Traditional Builder, Timber Homes Illustrated, American Builder’s Quarterly, Veterinary Economics, and Journal of Light Construction as well as regional newspapers and television. But our best publicity continues to be the word-of-mouth advertising our clients provide!
Legacy has erected frames throughout the United States, with our primary service area encompassing the Northeastern US including Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, and Vermont.
In the past twenty years we have completed hundreds of residential and commercial projects. Our frames can be found in homes from small starter homes and retirement or weekend homes to homes of over 5,000 square feet. Our commercial projects have included a Porte Cochere for Comfort Suites, a lobby for a retirement living center, a roof system for the Wave Hill Visitor Center in the Bronx, NY, and an entry for a private school, just to name a few.
Whether we’re creating a timber frame for a vacation home in the Adirondacks, Berkshires, Catskills, or Poconos, a timber frame for a farm house or barn in rural Pennsylvania, or a timber frame for a commercial project in the heart of downtown… we put Legacy quality into every frame we build.
